Why do I have to pay a deposit?

- Unfortunately we do sometimes get no shows, this is after the artist has spent hours of their own time perfecting the design and setting up their work station. We ask for a small deposit to secure the booking and it comes off of the final price of the tattoo. Appointments are NOT booked in to the calendar before a deposit is paid.

I paid a deposit but changed my mind - can I have it back?

- Deposits are non-refundable, each tattooist can spend hours perfecting each design and this is usually done in their "spare" time at home in the evenings as they're often tattooing the whole time they're in the studio so unfortunately, we are unable to refund deposits.

I need to change my appointment - is this okay?

-As long as we have 48 hours notice, we're happy to move your appointment to a time that suits you better!

What if I miss my appointment?

-Unfortunately you will not get your deposit back - by not turning up, the artist now has time to fill and no one to fill it with as it's such short notice. We cannot refund your deposit if you miss your appointment.

Can I change my design?

- We understand getting a tattoo is a huge decision and we want you to be super happy with the end result, but please be aware that it takes time to design your lovely ideas and so we do ask for at least 72 hours to make any substantial changes to the concept.

Can I bring my headphones?

- Whatever makes your experience more comfortable for you! We're always happy for a good chat but if you prefer to pop in your headphones and zone out - we don't mind that either. We have some customers who bring pillows and a tablet with a film downloaded for a long session!

What aftercare shall I use?

-Gone are the days of using antiseptic creams and petroleum jelly! We sell a fantastic tattoo specific cream that we all personally use and recommend - it's a balm specifically made for healing tattoos and comes in some amazing scents, it's just £5 a tub and used sparingly so will last for ages!

Is there anything I can do to make it is easier on myself?

- A good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast can make the world of difference to your experience - we recommend bringing

a drink with you - we do have fresh water, but sometimes a sugar rush can be needed!

What should I wear?

- Something comfy and loose fitting around the area that's getting tattooed, for example shorts if you're having your thigh tattooed or a vest top for an arm tattoo.

How do I look after my tattoo?

-The second skin cover we apply can stay on your tattoo for up to 3 days (don't worry if it comes off before) on the evening of the third day preferably whilst in the shower to soften the glue - peel off the covering and wash the area with warm soapy water using an unscented soap. Let the tattoo dry and apply a small amount of balm (a little goes a long way!) two or three times a day.

My tattoo looks weird under the cover!

-This is totally normal, especially with larger tattoos, it can end up looking like a lava lamp under there!! But it's nothing to worry about and will be all be washed away when you take the cover off and begin your aftercare

What should I not do?

-Whilst you can shower, we don't recommend soaking your new tattoo until fully healed so no baths and no swimming! Keep it out of the sun - the sun fades tattoos and to keep yours looking it's best, keep it covered! Don't ever pick or scratch your tattoo - we know it gets itchy, a gentle tap can take away the urge to scratch! Always use clean hands and be wary of anything that will irritate it e.g perfume, fake tan and even fluffy jumpers!
